1948 Lincoln Continental Coupe
Wonderful, Unique Automobile with a very special History that was documented by the “Continental Comments” 1989. It was said that this very Lincoln was 1 of 5 Easter Egg Edition Lincoln’s done for the 1948 Macy’s Easter Parade in New York City!! Of the 5 Produced this is the only on finished in these Factory Colors of Grotto Blue with a Black Painted Top. Extensively Restored to Factory Correct by a Renowned Lincoln Restorer in California, the late Mr. Walter Jenkins during the early 80’s. The quality of this Lincoln’s restoration has held quite well over the years. The upholstery is Gorgeous!! Finished in a Deep Red Leather Cap with Cloth Inserts in a Sand Beige tone. The dash is beautiful appointed in Chrome and Gold as Factory. Stock AM Radio, Clock and Road Lamps, Newer Radial Tires help improve the handling. Nice tight suspension and a solid smooth ride. V-12 Flathead Engine Purrs down the road with ease with help from a 3 speed manual transmission and factory Overdrive. This is a truly wonderful car despite the unique start in life.
